Vernon Heights began as a 10-acre plot of raw land encompassing all the beauty of the Black Hills: great views, rolling terrain, mossy rocks, and wildlife. In the Spring of 1995, these ten acres were transformed into the 1st Phase of Vernon Heights - 24 lots ranging from 7,800 square feet to a half acre. Vernon Heights Estates II began eight years after the ground breaking of Phase I in the Spring of 2003. This Phase was much bigger and more diverse.
